LEO

Little Leo is a bundle of love, and unfortunately has had a tough road in life. Unwanted in his first home he ended up being taken in my a another family where he unfortunately was not given the proper care. He was brought in to a local vet clinic with a old broken leg that had not been cared for in the correct way resulting in him losing his leg. While we feel horrible that this happened to him we are all thankful that he is no longer in pain and will become the happy healthy dog he deserves. Currently he is still recovering from his surgery and will need some basic maintenance but we suspect that he will adjust with no problem at all. He is housetrained and makes it very clear that he loves to be with his people. Leo needs a home with no kids as he is only 4lbs and a bit fragile. High energy kids are really not his thing and he gets frightened. He is very sweet and has never nipped or growled once. He is currently around other dogs and seems to do just fine and like to be a part of the pack! He doesn't bark at all unless other dogs bark or if someone is at the door. Who doesn't need a second alert right? Leo loves laying by his little personal space heater or in whatever available lap. Leo is a Chihuahua who weighs 4 lbs and was born approximately 10-2-18. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
