DELLA JO

They say love is patient and kind. This is exactly the type of love that this sweet little girl needs in her life. Della came to Dolly's from a breeder and she was scared and unable to trust. She has taken her time, but she has been working on trusting her humans. She has come a long way in that she has started wagging her tail and will even approach her humans (on her own terms, of course). Della will need a forever family that will be willing and able to be patient with her. From the strides she has made so far, we feel she will come around, it will just take some time. She is bonded with Maggie Mae and is looking for a home that will welcome both of them. Della looks to Maggie Mae for guidance and comfort. Della is mostly house trained and she does excellent in a kennel. She gets along well with other dogs, but she hasn't had an opportunity to be around cats. She doesn't love to be on a leash, and since she's still adjusting, we haven't worked on that as much. Della would do best in a home without small children. Della Jo is a Chiweenie mix born 10-4-2011. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee for both Maggy Mae and Della Jo is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
