RIVER

Sweet, smart, smoochy, and snuggly: I'm the perfect addition to any loving home. My name is River and maybe I'm a scotty mixed with a newfie, maybe I'm a lab mixed with a border collie, all I know is I'm 100% full of love and sweet kisses. I'm black with a brown undertone My Foster mom says I have horsey legs, with a couple of webbed toes. I love to spend my days in the office with my Foster mom, hoping she leaves a Croc shoe unattended. I am a puppy so I'm still teething and full of energy, but I love love love to cuddle on the couch and sleep in the office. My foster mom says I'm the happiest dog she's ever met. I love everyone I've ever met: grown up, kids, big dogs, little dogs. I haven't met a cat but I think I'd like them. My foster mom says I'm the smarest little boy when it comes to kennel and potty training. We were going to do leash training, but I ate two leashes. I'm a puppy! My foster mom says that may be for after I lose my baby teeth. And I give great kisses. I'm still a baby so I need extra patience because I don't know what's a toy and what's a shoe. But I'll listen and i learn quickly. I don't know my own strength or size yet, but I'm learning "down" and "sit". I keep growing! I am very treat motivated and very smart. River and his brother & sister, Hachi & Kiamichi, were witnessed being dumped at the Kiamichi River in Oklahoma, the 3 pups ran as fast as they could for as long as they could after the car who left them. The good samaritan reached out to Dolly's Legacy and we agreed to save these 3 abandoned orphans. The 'River Pups' are Patterdale Terrier/Border Collie mix pups born approximately 2-14-20. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
