What’s going on, folks? I’m Mugsy! I came here from Oklahoma for a better life and am really hoping for that in a forever home. I am a good boy, or so that’s what I’m told. I am housetrained and kennel trained so that makes me quite a good boy right there. I have two sisters that came here with me, Hugsy and Sola. I’m closest to Hugsy. We share a kennel at my foster mom’s house cuz we are best friends. I get along pretty good with cats, don’t get me wrong, I really want to play with them but my one foster cat brother told me I am a bit too rough when I try to play with him and swatted me on my nose so now I just watch and only play with my foster dog sisters and brothers. I sure do think cats are cool though. So here’s the thing…I want to sort of make a “wish list” to add. I want to live with someone that will love me and pet me and hug me. I love attention and when I get it, I just melt. I want to find a home with people that will treat me really good and be patient when I’m not perfect, although my foster mom told me I’m pretty close. I want lots of toys, not just one, I want lots and lots cuz I love toys A LOT! I want another brother or sister if possible, but I can handle being an only child as long as I get the attention and love from my new family. I want to be fed well and be in the house with my family as much as possible! That last one is important cuz I didn’t start out that way and I want to prove how good I am to someone. Lastly, I promise I’ll be a really good boy if you give me the chance! I honestly only want to please someone and be loved so if you think I’m as adorable as my foster mom tells me I am, please adopt me! I’m anxious to have a family of my own! Mugsy is a handsome Retriever mix boy who weighs 35 lbs and was born approximately 12-2-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
