RICK

Rick  is a sweet, playful, lovable pup who is very smart & has a great personality Happy go lucky guy that's eager to learn, play and nap. He is doing awesome with house training. He is timid of new things and surroundings but gets the hang of things quick especially when bribed with cheese popcorn . He's also working on leash training and getting a hang of that quickly too. He loves his kennel and finds it to be a safe place to relax. He is doing great with potty training too. Has only had a few accidents and goes outside when prompted almost every time. He sometimes has a nervous tinkle but we are working on it. He loves toys that make noise and things he can chew on! Rawhides and rubber bones are a big hit. He also loves to be outside rolling in the grass and being silly. He has bursts of puppy energy but is otherwise a pretty mellow guy that loves to be petted and snuggled. He is a sweet boy and will make a great dog for someone. Rick is a male Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pointer mix pup, weighs 40 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 12-12-19. Rick was diagnosed with a seizure disorder but one small pill a day has kept the seizures away. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
