CATFISH

Catfish was found abandoned at a rural campsite, emaciated and desperate for someone to save him. A good samaritan who had gone to fish found him and got him to safety. Catfish had a body score of 1/5 and was so anemic the vet couldn't find a heartbeat with a stethescope, just muffled sounds of a heart ravaged by heartworms. Dolly's Legacy is providing life-saving care for this amazingly sweet boy who is so forgiving of humans despite his previous neglect. He loves absolutely everyone he meets and is convinced he is a lap dog! Catfish is a male Boxer, weighs 55 lbs and was born approximately 6-2-18. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed. Catfish had life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. He will need to remain on heartworm preventive for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
