MERLE

Merle is a great dog! He is potty trained, good on a leash, and loves people, although kids of young ages (under teenage) make him nervous and will go into a corner in attempt to hide. He prefers a calm household without a lot of commotion. When we go on walks he doesn’t pull for dogs or bark at them. He is a good companion and enjoys sitting near people and being petted. He can go on longs walks, but he also just likes laying around and resting. His favorite toys are the rope toys that he can play tug of war with.  All in all Merle is smart and wants to please. Merle is a Catahoula Leopard Dog,weighs 51 lbs and is about 3 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
