Shelly arrived recently in Lincoln, NE along with her siblings—these beautiful pups were dumped in the middle of nowhere, left to fend for themselves. These young pups were discovered malnourished, dehydrated and in need of immediate care. Through networking, they made their way into Dolly’s Legacy where they have been receiving care in Oklahoma until they were healthy and ready to move on to foster homes in Nebraska. Shelly is mostly house trained, kennel trained and working on basic commands. She is good on a leash and loves to explore everything. Shelly is not shy and loves to be part of the action. She will let you know when things are going on in the neighborhood and loves to talk to all the dogs! Shelly is a Black Mouth Cur mix, weighs 20 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 03/15/2020. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
