When I was very little, I was dumped with my siblings in a parking lot in a box marked ‘Free Puppies’. When we were rescued, there were only four of us left. We weren’t quite healthy enough to make the trip to Nebraska right away, so we stayed in Oklahoma with our rescuers. Sadly, one of my sisters died from parvo. But we kept fighting to get healthy and strong and finally we made it to Dolly’s Legacy! I made myself at home right away and let my foster family know that I like to have lots of love and attention. I like to run around and wrestle in the yard, and I love toys and will entertain myself for a long time. My favorite toy right now is my squeaky hedgehog. I like to play a game with it where I drop it over the couch and then leap off to go fetch it and bring it back to do it all over again. When I’m done, I like to cuddle with it on the couch. I get along well with other dogs, but I would also be okay being the only dog in your house. I prefer my playmates on the bigger side (50+pounds) because I can keep up with them and I need them to teach me how to play. I absolutely love kids because they have so much energy and like to run around and play with me! Overall, I’m a happy and friendly puppy who loves to play (and chew!) then cuddle on the couch at the end of the day. Freeman is a growing male Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix puppy who was born approximately 7-1-20. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
