GUMBO

My name is Gumbo and my foster parents say I’m a lovable, courageous, and playful boy. I love being around everyone, I even enjoy the company of other dogs, especially when we play games like fetch, tag, and wrestling around. I know how to sit and I do excellent in a kennel during the day and overnight. I’m still working on my potty training. I’m a smart boy thats very treat motivated! I’m also still working on my leash skills but I know that I will get the hang of it. I dream of a home with a family that wants to be active with their dog—playing fetch, going for a walk/run and perhaps even agility. I haven’t been around kids so I would do best in a home with kids age 10+ due to my energy level. While a fenced yard is not required, I do love sniffing and running around the yard, enjoying outdoors. I would love to meet you. Gumbo is a male Hound/Cattle Dog mix who weighs 35 lbs (but still growing) and was born approximately 7-2-20. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
