Meet Donna!! This sweet, petite girl is just the cutest! She arrived at a Texas shelter after her mom, a young woman, had a stroke and was no longer able to care for her. Tragic all around. This little girl is so incredibly friendly, sweet and snuggly! She loves to play, but always retreats back to a lap for cuddles and a nap. She sleeps with her foster mom every night, usually on her back, tucked up under her chin with her little paws on her arm. She’s very smart and gets along great with a menagerie of creatures, including a 7-year-old human. She plays well with dogs of all sizes as well as cats and shows great interest in befriending  hamsters, through the glass of course! Assuming her foster doesn’t skip the country with Donna stuffed in a large purse and peep holes cut in the side, she will make the perfect little companion for just about any family! Donna is a female all-black Beagle, weighs 18.5 lbs and was born 6-26-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
