POLLY POCKET

Hello I'm Polly Pocket! I am a small girl made of pure energy and love for my doggy friends and every human I meet. If you are looking for a couch buddy and go everywhere with you companion, look no further! I am a quiet pup, I don't bark often. I am so light weight, I like to bounce from floor to couch to chair. I would even like to sit on the window sill to watch what is going on outdoors. My first night in Nebraska I jumped on on a stack of blankets and towels and decided it was the best place to nap. I also like to hide my treats there! I am house trained. I can go all night without an accident. I have never gone number two inside, I did have a tinkle accident on my first night but once I know my routine I will have no problems. I do currently sleep all night in my kennel but I would be such a good girl if I could sleep in her with you! I promise not to get into anything in the middle of the night, I'll just snuggle under the covers. I would love to have a fenced in backyard. It should probably be 4 foot or taller as I am pretty springy for such a small pup. I haven't met any children, but I'm such a snuggle bug, once I know they will be gentle and love me I think I will love them right back! I haven't done much leash walking, but I will train easily at that. I don't play with many toys but I do love chew bones! I really like to hide them and find them later. I am so ready to find my perfect furever home. I will fit into a busy, active family or a quiet, calm family, or anything in between! I just need someone who will share all their love with me and I can share all my love back! Polly came from rural southern Oklahoma where she was found as a stray and never reclaimed. The only way she would make it out of the shelter alive was to be rescued as they do not have any volunteer or adoption programs in their rural animal control facility. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Polly Pocket is a Feist mix, weighs 15lbs and was born approximately 1-25-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
