**MEDICAL HOLD - Available for adoption approximately 8-1-21** Hi there! My name is George and I’m a very energetic, happy little guy. I may be the sweetest pup you will ever meet! I love everyone I meet including other dogs and cats. I enjoy being a lap dog and receiving endless amounts of pets. When I’m hungry I sort of have this little internal clock and will remind you when its breakfast and dinner time , even if it's a few minutes early. I just love food! Meet George, this cute little guy is quiet but 'tuff'. He loves to eat! He needs to be taken out every 3-4 hrs to go to the bathroom but his foster mom is working with him on control for longer periods of time. Sometimes he may needs a doggie diaper if he is left home for several hours without a potty break. He's great with other dogs & with cats. He sleeps a lot because his body needs rest. He is super sweet & loves to give kisses. Oh & don't forget the treats! He loves soft treats & lots of them! He eats kibble with some canned food mixed in. He is going to be so happy to have a forever home. Whoever gets to add this little guy to their family is blessed! George came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where he was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & his time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to his rescue and saved his life. George is a male Maltese/Shih Tzu that weighs 8 lbs and was born approximately 1-6-13. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed. George is undergoing life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. He will need to remain on heartworm preventive for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure he is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
