CAP’N CRUNCH

Hi! My Name Is CAP’N CRUNCH

We're happy to tell you that CAP’N CRUNCH has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
Cap’N Crunch is a sweet, fun-loving puppy who is both rambunctious and a snuggler. He is an absolute sweetheart who loves to get on your lap for belly rubs. Then he loves to run and wrestle with his sisters. He loves toys, balls, stuffed toys, ropes, well actually anything can be a toy if you ask Cap’N Crunch. He loves chew toys and treats. He is still a puppy but he is doing well on potty training and will go outside to potty as long as let out often enough. He has already learned how to sit and we have not doubt he will quickly pick up new tricks, as he is very treat motivated. One of Cap’N Crunch’s favorite things is to be outside. He loves to sit in the sun and play outside. Because of this his foster family thinks he would do best with a fenced yard. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and gets along with the all the foster dogs in his foster house. Cap’N Crunch is the sweetest boy who will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family! Cap'n Crunch is a herding breed, thus it is in his nature to want to 'herd' moving creatures the direction he wants them to go, little kids included. If you are parents of young children and are not prepared for 'herd nipping', we ask that you please consider another breed of dog. Check our list of available dogs who are not herding breeds who are better suited for families with children. The 'Cereal Pups' were tiny nursing pups crying in a box with their distressed mom, Ash, at their side. A plea went out from a small rural shelter that they didn't have the resources to care for this family of 9. Dolly's Legacy answered the call for help, rescuing the mom & litter, and brought them to safety so they could all get the care they needed. Cap'n Crunch is a growing male Australian Cattle Dog/Pointer mix pup who was born approximately 1-26-21. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, you must first complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator via email after your application has been reviewed & approved to schedule an appointment. Our website is updated daily, pets that are listed are still available.
