Hi, my name is Sonic! My foster mom calls me “Mama” because that has been my primary job for the last couple of months. I raised seven kittens of my own, and also helped foster five little feral babies as well... And now I’m exhausted and ready to start a new life of my own! I am the sweetest and calmest kitty you’ve ever met. Very few things phase me and I have gotten along with every cat and dog I have met. I am incredibly independent but I LOVE attention and head scratches! I want to be near my people and will head boop for pets whenever anyone comes close. I also love having conversations, and my foster mom says it’s so sweet that I’m “very chatty.” I haven’t had much opportunity to be a lap cat because I have been so busy raising my babies, but now that they are growing up and don’t rely on me so much anymore, I’m coming out of my shell more and more every day! I am excellent at using the litter box, and I am obsessed with cardboard scratchers and will happily scratch on it instead of your furniture. If you have a calm loving family that is missing a sweet, wonderful, feline family member, I am the kitty you are looking for!! Sonic is a Domestic Shorthair Tabby, weighs 6 lbs and was born approximately 3-24-19. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and dewormed. Adoption fee is $75 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
