It doesn’t matter to me, I’m just super chill like that. I love being around my people, because they give me lots of pets and love. That’s really all I want in life. Well, all the love, treats, and an occasional walk. My foster mom says I have great leash manners, whatever that means. I also LOVE treats! I am very treat motivated and love hearing what a good girl I am. She says I’m so gentle and calm. I get along great with other dogs. We say hello and play a little then I just want to chill. I do like exploring so a fenced yard would be great in my new home. My foster mom keeps telling me what a great dog I am and how easygoing I am. We are working on building my confidence because I am a little timid so if I could find a home that would continue to work on my confidence that would be great! Apple Jack came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where she was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & her time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Apple Jack is a female Border Collie/Basset Hound mix, weighs 61 lbs and was born approximately 7-22-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. Apple Jack was given life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. She will need to remain on heartworm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee has been reduced to $200 for our "Home for the Holidays" adoption promotion. This is to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
