Tommy is a gorgeous all white boy with bi-colored eyes. He was originally rescued by a woman in Puerto Rico where he was found covered in fire ants. He lived happily with her for 3 years until she became ill and could no longer take care of her beloved Tommy and sadly surrendered him to a shelter in Texas. It was discovered there that Tommy is blind and most likely deaf. They reached out to Dolly's Legacy to rescue him from the shelter and give him the best chance at a happy life. He is learning to be a cat again after all of the upheaval in his life. He is having some trouble remembering to go in his litterbox but he is getting much better at it. Due to his blindness, he just needs time to assess the lay of the land and figure out where things are. We are quite certain he is clairvoyant and can see ghosts, as he follows them and attempts to swat at and play with them (it's true!). He no doubt he has special powers, as he has won the hearts of everyone he meets! Tommy is understandably a shy boy who will take time to adjust to a new environment & new routine. We require an experienced cat home that is adult-only, and a calm household without a lot of commotion or coming & going. He is forever grateful to Dolly's Legacy for rescuing him and giving him a chance at finding his forever home.
