CINDER

Hi there, my name is Cinder! Since coming to Dolly’s Legacy from a rural Oklahoma shelter where I was in a cage with a wire bottom and forced to listen to barking dogs all day and night, I have finally started to feel safe and relax into my foster home. My foster mama tells me I’m just the sweetest little guy, and I don’t know what that means, but she smiles when she says it so it must be good. I have had a hard time learning to trust people, but I don’t have a mean bone in my body and the longer I’m shown love and patience, the more I feel comfortable being a kitten and opening up. I’m still a bit of a shy guy, but I love to play and curl up in a soft comfy blanket, play with catnip toys, and I am a professional litterbox user. A good cardboard scratcher is also the only place I sharpen my claws, so it’s a nice toy and helps me be a good kitty. I know that I have a ways to go before I come of out of my shell completely, but if you have a calm, patient home and would be willing to show me a ton of love, I will turn into the best little kitty in the world!
