Hazel is a happy, playful girl who would do great in a home with another dog to play with. She loves playing with her three foster brother pups out in the snow and could play out there for hours if you let her. Hazel is a very smart girl that knows how to sit on command and is very treat motivated. She has no qualms about sharing food or toys with other dogs or people. She loves to be brushed and does great when clipping her nails. Since she is still young she does have that puppy energy and would love someone who could take her on long walks or even to the dog park! Her kennel is a safe space and she will at times even go in there on her own. Due to her breed and size, she would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and with kids over the age of 6 (she instinctively will want to 'herd' little ones!). If she isn’t cuddled up next to you she will be right by another pup. Hazel is just the sweetest and we know once you meet her you will fall in love. Hazel is a Border Collie (possibly a mix), and was born approximately 11-15-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
