Sadie arrived with her brother, Farley, and has adjusted to life inside a home very well. She is a little more outgoing and energetic than her brother but just as sweet. Sadie loves all the other dogs and cats in her foster home and would love to have another animal to play with in her forever home. When crated, she will howl for a short while and then settle down as long as there is a bone or toy to play with. Housetraining is a work in progress but they're both catching on quickly. They are still learning manners and will occasionally jump up or be mouthy so they may not be the best behaved around little kids at first. A secure yard would be recommended as they both like to follow their noses and could easily wander off.
Requirements to adopt Sadie:
*Must have another dog as a companion
*Must own a home with a fenced yard; no apartment
*Must have exceptional veterinary reference & pet ownership history
Sadie is a female Bassador (Basset Hound/Black Labrador) puppy who was born approximately 4-21-22. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
