CHILLI

Chilli is such a lovable, courageous, and curious boy! He likes to be around his people and he enjoys the company of other dogs--if they are game to play, he is too!! Chilli is equally able to keep himself occupied with a toy. He is learning to sit, is working on potty training in his foster home, and does excellent in his kennel during the day and overnight. Chilli is going to start practicing his leash skills. Chilli has not been around cats, but we would expect he would be just fine, perhaps a little curious! Chilli will make a great pet for just about anyone—he would likely love a family (the more people to cuddle with), but be perfectly fine being an individual’s sidekick—he’s got the following down pat: watching tv (especially romcoms and sitcoms) with his foster mom, fetching toys and shoes, and coming in the house through the dog door. While a fenced yard is not required, Chilli does love sniffing and running around the yard, enjoying outdoor play time, and chasing his foster siblings. Chilli enjoys a good bone or chew toy while chilling on the comfy dog bed and hanging on the couch with his foster mom. Chilli is a fun little guy to hang out with. He has so much love to give.

Requirements to adopt Chilli:

*Must own a home with a fenced yard or acreage; no apartment, no exceptions

*Must have exceptional veterinary reference & pet ownership history

Chilli came into rescue from Oklahoma where he was found as a stray with his siblings. Chilli is a growing male Mountain Cur/mix puppy (our best guess of breed) who was born approximately 9-10-22. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
