This handsome boy is the beefiest little pup you will ever meet. Porkchop came from a family that was unable to keep him and needed to surrender him to a shelter. Luckily for him we happened to be at the right place at the right time. They were about to walk him into the shelter and drop him off but saw us and asked if we would take him in. Of course we agreed. This boy is a growing Bulldog/Basset/Bully mix, which is our best guess of breed, he is short with huge paws and very stocky! He is such a smart boy and is kennel trained and doesn't even make a peep when he goes in. He knows how to sit as he is very treat motivated. He also knows his name very well. If you're looking for a smart boy that you could take with you anywhere, then Porkchop may be your guy. He does very well when meeting other people and dogs and adores everyone he meets. Due to being a strong, big puppy and jumping up & nipping as he is still learning, he will need to go to a home with kids over the age of 10. Porkchop would also love a home with another dog and a fenced in yard so he can run his little heart out. Requirements to adopt Porkchop:
*Home with a fenced yard, he cannot go to an apartment, no exceptions
*No kids under 10 (he is too much of a brut and may inadvertently knock them over)
*Pet ownership history with excellent verifiable veterinary reference
Porkchop is a growing puppy who was born approximately 9-15-22. on 2-4-23 he weighed in at 38.5 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
