Claus is an absolute snuggle bug and will lay with you for hours on the couch watching TV. He loves to be by his people and is such a mellow boy for his age. Claus would do great in a home with another more mellow dog or even in a home by himself. He would also love a home with a backyard where he can run his little heart out. At night, he prefers to be snuggled up in bed with his human. Claus also does very well on walks and when getting a bath. He is super smart and figured out to ring the bell so he could be let outside for potty breaks on his second day at his foster home. He also is a bit sneaky and let himself into the pantry by opening up the door and helping himself to some snacks. He's quite the smarty pants! We think this pup is truly amazing and will thrive in his forever home!
Claus came into rescue from Oklahoma where he & his siblings were found abandoned in a box along a country road. He is the biggest of the litter.
Claus is a growing male Lab/Pointer mix puppy (our best guess of breeds) who was born approximately 9-10-22. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed and started on flea/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
