Lovebug is a perfect name for this cuddly pup! She loves everyone she has met including big & small dogs, cats, kids & adults. She will melt right into you and fall asleep in your lap. Her breed is a bit of a mystery, we've determined she most resembles an Italian Greyhound with some additional Hound lineage. She was found with her 9 siblings as an abandoned litter in rural Kansas. All of her siblings were adopted at their local shelter, but poor Lovebug kept getting passed over and was getting depressed in the shelter as she watched all of her siblings get chosen and leave her. Dolly's Legacy welcomed her to rescue so she could be in a foster home and get all the love she was seeking. She's been a pro with housetraining. We are hoping to find her a home with a nice big yard, preferably fenced, so she can romp & play to her heart's content. If you're looking for a snuggly, fun companion, Lovebug fits the bill!
Lovebug is a growing female Hound/Italian Greyhound mix puppy who was born approximately 11-11-22. She weighed in at 17 lbs on 4-17-23 (approx 5 mos). She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/heartworm preventative, dewormed. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
