BOPPER

Hi! My Name Is BOPPER

We're happy to tell you that BOPPER has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

My name is Bopper. Life started a little tough for me, but you wouldn’t know it if you saw me now. I’m a healthy, happy, playful, and curious puppy who cannot wait to meet my new family. I’m careful when I meet new people, but once I trust you, I’ll be your loyal friend. I’m a quick learner. I learned “sit,” “down,” and “get in” (the kennel) really fast because I really wanted the treats my foster mom bribed me with. I do those commands now sometimes without treats because I really want to be a good dog. I’m super easy going with things like being brushed, nail clipping, and being picked up. I also jump in and out of the car very well. For a puppy, I’m a pretty easy dog! I would be a good only dog, but I would also get along well with other dogs. I would also be okay with cats; I’m curious about them, but I don’t chase them. My foster mom says I have very expressive body language, and when I get excited I sing in the cutest way. She says I’m quite the character! When I first got to my foster home, I liked being petted but did not really want to sit with the humans. Now I’m starting to enjoy sitting and snuggling with them sometimes. I am kennel trained and can sleep through the night without a potty break. I am getting a good hang of this potty training thing; I rarely have accidents anymore. I am looking for a family to love and play with. My foster family thinks I will be able to thrive in many different types of situations, because I’m pretty mature (for a puppy), chill, and intelligent, but potential adopters do need to be aware that I can be vocal and will probably bark sometimes, especially if neighborhood dogs dare to pass my house.

Bopper is a growing female Beauceron/Retriever mix (our best guess of possible breeds) who was was born approximately 8-28-23 and weighed 24 lbs on 12-19-23. She is part of the "Opper Family".
