Hello future family members! My name is Callie and I am a purebred blue tick hound! I am one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. Being a hound, I need a fenced yard because I do love to follow my nose but I love love LOVE going on walks so I can sniff out all the smells. I do very well with my harness on leash walks. If you need a walking friend, I'm your girl! Fun fact about me is that I love cucumbers, they are so yummy. Even though I howl like a hound, I do really well with redirection and some guidance to let me know that I need to stop. It's almost Halloween, so maybe you want to hear my howl in your backyard with all the other ghosts and goblins that come around. It's not scary, by the way. Another fun fact is at my foster house I stand on my tippy toes from the deck railing so I can see over the fence. Everybody that sees it thinks it is adorable. I am a fun, lovable, actually a bit of a couch potato kind of girl. Will you be my new family?
Callie is a female Bluetick Coonhound who was was born 8-8-21 and weighs 51 lbs. She requires a home with a fenced yard. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, provided life-saving heartworm treatment and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
