Autumn is a sweet and gentle soul who’s ready to find her forever home! This loving girl is great with children—including her foster’s one-year-old—and gets along well with all the dogs she’s met and would make a great playmate for any dog! After spending several months in a rural shelter, Autumn is thriving in a home environment. She’s fully potty trained, sleeps comfortably in her kennel, and has an easygoing personality that makes her a joy to have around. Autumn enjoys toys, snuggles, and walks, where she may get a little excited seeing squirrels or other pups, so some basic leash training would be helpful. While she loves a backyard, she does just fine doing her business on walks and isn't much of a barker. Although she hasn’t been tested with cats, she’s shown such a gentle nature that she’d likely do well with a proper introduction. Potential adopters should know Autumn can clear a 4-foot fence, so a secure 6-foot fence is recommended if she’ll have yard access. With her loving nature and calm, family-friendly vibe, Autumn is the kind of dog who fits right into almost any home.
Autumn is a Retriever/Terrier mix who was was born approximately 3-21-23 and weighs 65 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
