JACK

Hi! My Name Is JACK

I'm Available

Meet Jack, a regal gentleman with a puppy’s heart! Weighing in at about 100 pounds, Jack is a big, noble boy whose gentle nature makes him truly special.

Despite his impressive size, Jack is incredibly sweet and patient. He does wonderfully with other dogs and is fantastic with children—even newborns. His calm demeanor, kind spirit, and impeccable house manners make him an easy and lovable companion to have around. Jack doesn’t bark much, greets strangers like old friends, and carries himself with a quiet confidence that matches his statuesque good looks. One look into his soulful eyes and you’ll understand why everyone falls for him.

Jack has attended doggy daycare a few times and always receives glowing reports for being playful and social with dogs of all sizes and ages. He enjoys making friends and would likely thrive in a home with another friendly dog. He hasn’t been exposed to cats that we know of, so a slow introduction would be recommended if there are feline friends in the home.

Jack would love a home with a yard where he can stretch his long legs and enjoy the outdoors. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he does need a bit more training on leash walking—he’s strong and sometimes likes to pull—but he’s a smart boy who will do well with guidance and consistency.

Jack originally joined our rescue as a tiny 3-month-old puppy and was adopted with his sister, Winnie. Sadly, the family’s young child developed respiratory difficulties related to a dog allergy, and they were heartbroken to return them. Jack would absolutely love to be adopted alongside Winnie again, but it isn’t required.

If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle giant with a playful spirit and a heart full of love, Jack might just be the perfect addition to your family.

Jack is a male Labrador Retriever/Great Pyreness who was was born 10-1-24 and currently weighs 100.6 lbs.
