He ain't nothing but a hound dog… or maybe a beagle, bulldog, corgi, dachshund… honestly, Elvis is a mystery mix with one very clear identity:
Certified Love Machine.
At 37 pounds, Elvis is the perfect medium-sized companion — sturdy, snuggly, and packed with personality. Just like his namesake, he loves giving kisses and turns into one big wiggle when he’s excited (which is often).
Elvis is incredibly affectionate and truly just wants to be with his people. He’s young but already potty trained and kennel trained, making him an easy addition to a home ready for a fun, loving companion. He’s working on leash walking and improving with practice. He enjoys toys and can entertain himself, but he also loves playing with his foster brothers — even though they’re twice his size. And when playtime is over? Elvis is a full-on couch potato who would happily snuggle up beside you for the rest of the evening.
He does have a curious nature and would benefit from a secure, strong fence, as exploring the world is very much on his agenda.
Elvis does not do well with cats and has not yet been tested with children.Elvis isn’t subtle. He’s love, laughter, and wiggles all rolled into one.
🏡 The Ideal Furever Home
Elvis would thrive in a home that wants an affectionate, people-oriented dog who enjoys both playtime and downtime. A securely fenced yard is recommended to safely satisfy his curiosity and love of exploring.
He’d do well with other friendly dogs and would love a home where he can be part of daily life — whether that’s play sessions, couch snuggles, or simply following his humans around.
His perfect furever home?
One where he’s never short on attention, affection, or cuddle time.
