She didn't ask for any of this.
After 8 years of being someone's whole world, Shelby's life got turned upside down when her beloved human had to move into assisted living. For four months, she's been waiting β patient, sweet, and full of love she's just desperate to give.
All she needs is someone to give it to.
Shelby is a puggle with the most soulful eyes you've ever seen, the softest snores you've ever heard, and a heart so big it barely fits in her small, snuggly body. She will find you in every room. She will press herself against you on the couch. She will look up at you like you personally hung the moon.
(A closed door, however, is a personal offense. Consider yourself warned.)
She carries little plushies around like they're her babies. She snoozes straight through thunderstorms. She'll curl up beside you and snore so adorably you'll want to record it just to send to everyone you know.
Shelby doesn't have a mean bone in her body β she loves cats, loves dogs, walks beautifully on a leash, and has never met a living creature she couldn't charm.
Yes, she's a stage 5 clinger. That's not a warning. That's the whole selling point.
This girl has love to give that has been waiting four months for somewhere safe to land. She's not asking for much β just a lap, a little stability, and a promise that this time, she gets to stay.
π‘ The Ideal Furever Home
Shelby's perfect home is one where someone is actually there. Retirees, work-from-homers, or anyone whose lifestyle means Shelby won't spend long stretches alone β that's her person.
She'll thrive with other dogs or cats, and she'd do beautifully as a solo pet for someone who wants their whole heart taken up by one very devoted little dog.
Her perfect furever home?
Someone ready to be loved harder than they've ever been loved by a dog.
