Don't let her fancy new haircut fool you—Raggedy Ann earned her name from a very tough past. When she was first rescued, her fur was so severely matted and dirty that it took a patient groomer hours to carefully shave away her heavy, uncomfortable coat. She even had a metal wire deeply embedded in her matted fur. But the moment she was freed from that heavy, filthy outer shell, a vibrant, gorgeous, and unbelievably sweet girl emerged!
Through it all, Raggedy Ann never lost her gentle spirit. She is the ultimate easy-going companion with a soft, affectionate personality that will melt your heart instantly.

Health Update: She is in the very final stages of her heartworm treatment and feeling great. To keep her healthy and thriving, she'll just need to stay on regular, monthly heartworm preventative for life (a standard best practice for all pups!).

Raggedy Ann is a female ShihTzu/mix who was was born approximately 4-1-22 and weighs 13 lbs. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She is completing her heartworm treatment and will be ready for adoption early September 2026. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
