CLYDE

My name is Clyde, I’m looking for someone who will promise to always be by my side. I came from Oklahoma after being used as a breeder dog, I was taken to the pound, alone and scared. I’m shy but love to sit or lay in your lap and have my head rubbed. I use a pet door and enjoy spending time outdoors. I will need a fenced yard so I can explore and take in the fresh air. I do not like to be kenneled but do better in confined area. I’m working on leash training, potty training, and learning about a new way of life. I would do best with someone who is able to provide love, time, and patience. I will sing u a song ( I can howl) and eventually hope to dance like no one is watching. Clyde would do best in a home that is willing to give him the time he needs to learn how to be a happy & loved pet; a quieter home with adults only or children over 12 would be best for him. We require a dog-experienced home for Clyde with a verifiable vet reference. Clyde is a male Maltese, weighs 10 lbs and was born approximately 7-29-12. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & given a Proheart injection for 6 months of heartworm prevention. Wally also had a dental procedure & fluoride treatment with a few extractions so would do best with a primarily soft diet. Adoption fee is $300 individually, or $500 with his twin brother, Wally, to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
