JESTER

Jester may not be a joker in the typical sense, but he will sure make you smile. This sweet pup is playful and a little independent. However, he won't turn down a good snuggle or some pets. He gives the best hugs in which he'll nuzzle into your neck and loves to give puppy kisses on your nose (if you're into that kind of thing, which we are!). He enjoys being outside but isn't so sure about the really cold weather. He likes to use the doggy door to play in the yard with his sister, Cougar. The two of them are besties, but they aren't bonded. Jester is kennel trained and he honestly seeks it out as a place of refuge. However, he will have no qualms about letting you know when he feels it is time to come out. He is working on house training, leash manners, and the general commands. Jester gets along great with the resident dogs in his foster home. He's good with kids. As far as we know, he hasn't been around cats. We feel that he will thrive in a home with or without kids, as well as with or without other dogs as long as you are willing to give him the attention and love that he deserves. Jester is a Great Pyrenees mix (mom was Pyrenees, dad is unknown), weighs 15 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 11-7-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
