COUGAR

Hi! My Name Is COUGAR

We're happy to tell you that COUGAR has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
Cougar is playful, quiet and curious. She is an expert snuggler. She will give you a hug and sweet puppy kisses on the nose if you let her. She enjoys being outside but isn't so sure about the really cold weather. When it's too cold, she'll do her business and rush back to the house, but really who can blame her? She likes to use the doggy door to play in the yard with her brother, Jester. The two of them are besties, but they aren't bonded. Cougar is kennel trained and she honestly seeks it out as a place of refuge. She is working on house training, leash manners, and the general commands. Cougar gets along great with the resident dogs in her foster home. She's good with kids. As far as we know, she hasn't been around cats. We feel that she will thrive in a home with or without kids, as well as with or without other dogs as long as you are willing to give her the attention and love that she deserves. Cougar is a Great Pyrenees mix (mom was Pyrenees, dad is unknown), weighs 15 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 11-7-19. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
