Hello World, my name is Paisley! They tell me I’m a year old, but I look very much like a puppy and lots of times I act like one too. I get very excited when I see people and like to jump up on them and lick their faces to tell them how happy I am to see them. I’m trying very hard to learn not to jump, but like I said, I’m only a year old and am still trying to learn manners. I’ve just started learning how to walk on a leash and I’m working very hard to learn sit. Sometimes if I’m left alone for too long, I get bored and find something to chew on. I get very hurt feelings when my foster mom tells me no and am frightened that she might hurt me. She doesn’t, though, because she loves me and she gives me toys and balls to play with instead. I’m house trained (but please take me out regularly), kennel trained (though I may cry just a bit at first) and very good at playing fetch. I love to run and play in the yard with the other dogs because we are the best of friends. I was very scared and nipped at them when we first met, but after just a few minutes of supervision and reassurance I decided it was awesome to live with other dogs. Snuggling with people is my favorite. I am very affectionate and love to snuggle in the recliner, on the couch and most of all in bed. Sometimes I fall asleep with my head resting on my foster mom’s shoulder and even sleep through the night without fidgeting or getting off of the bed at all. I am very active and would love to have a yard to play in or someone to go on walks or runs with. I am very smart and will try so hard to learn new things. I promise to love you forever and will always be happy to see you. Paisley is a Lab/Pointer mix, weighs 30 pounds and was born approximately 1/15/2019. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
