Hi, I'm Wrigley and I'm a special boy because I beat cancer!! I was a very sick boy battling leukemia and had one of the highest white blood cell counts my doctor had ever seen! I am now back in a normal range but do still have a few health challenges. I need to be on thyroid medicine, eye drops, and medicine to keep the cancer at bay with bi-annual CBC checks. Dolly's says it could cost around $50 to $70 per month for my ongoing medications. I hope someone can look beyond my health challenges to see what a wonderful dog I am! I love people, walks, and other dogs. I'm great at taking my medicine and getting my eye drops. I'm also house trained. Will you take a chance on giving me a home? I promise to be your best friend for life! Wrigley is a Shih Tzu, weighs 15 lbs and was born approximately 1/23/2012. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $300 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
