Badger

INTERESTED ADOPTERS: Please complete our online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/available-dogs/. We expect to receive a high number of applications for Badger and will be picking the best fit for her. We do not transport dogs so the chosen adopter will be required to travel to Lincoln, NE to do the adoption. Preference will be given to adopters with large breed experience and an acreage or large fenced in yard. Badger loves to be with people & loves to play games. She would do best on an acreage or a home with a large fenced yard. She’s always happy & playful. She loves to go on walks, be petted & brushed. She loves dogs but can be a bit much for small dogs. She also likes cats but may chase them and try to play without understanding how big she is. She does still have some mouthy puppy behavior that will need to be worked on. She loves kids but may be better with those older than age 6 as she will knock over small children unintentionally. She’s an all around wonderful dog who deserves a home that would best suit her. Badger is a purebred Landseer Newfoundland, weighs about 100 pounds (but still has a lot of growing/filling out to do) and was born 5/4/2019. She is spayed, vaccinated, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $650 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
