Hi there! My name is Sophie! I get told way too often how gorgeous I am. I'm just a sweet gal that loves to be loved! I'm a very easy going girl that loves to snuggle. I also enjoy going for walks. I have excellent leash manners & don’t pull at all. I like to chew on bones and play fetch as well. One of my absolute favorite things to do outside is to take guard and make sure no squirrels enter the yard. Chasing them is so much fun! I get along well with my foster family's dogs and love all of the kids I have gotten to be around. However, I am a herding breed so it is in my nature to want to herd things including children, so I would do best in a home without kids under 10. Cats are especially fun to chase so it would be better if I wasn't tempted in a home with felines. I would love to find a home with a fenced in yard (or a farm/acreage) where I can run around and play ball, chase squirrels and just enjoy the outdoors. I would also like having another pup in the home but that’s not a deal breaker. I’d do great as an only dog as well! Do you think we could be a good match? I can't wait to meet my furever family!
Sophie came from a crowded city shelter in Texas after her owner died of Covid. Sophie was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home.
