ABBIE

Have you been debating between adopting a fawn or a puppy? Well, no need to decide if you adopt Abbie. She's sweet and snuggly and has legs for days! She's buddies with her foster dog sister and foster cat sister but she's a people dog. Abbie is often found near or on her humans. Her foster human sibling loves picking Abbie up and Abbie just loves to be held. She also loves being outdoors and napping in her kennel. She's playful without being aggressive or too crazy. She loves chewing on sticks and eating grass. She doesn't seem to mind the rain so she could be a water dog. Abbie is kennel trained and has no issues being kenneled overnight or when home alone. She picked up 'sit' very quickly and is now working on 'crash' (which means lay down). We are working on potty training but Abbie is smart and food motivated making her easy to train. She walks on a leash but is working on not pulling. She hasn't been reactive to squirrels or rabbits but does show interest chasing birds. Abbie is a lab/hound mix, weighs 25 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 1-16-2020. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $550 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
