Hello! My name is Apollo and I'm a sweet fun loving boy looking for my perfect family. My favorite things including eating, playing with toys, wrestling with my sister Artemis and other foster pup siblings, and did I mention eating? I'm a food motivated boy that makes my training a breeze. It took me 2 days to run straight into my kennel without a detour because I knew I was getting a treat or a meal. Even though getting a snack is awesome for going into my kennel I do whine and bark a little once you walk away because I'd rather be out playing. All my snacking aside, I'm still a small boy, my parents must not have been very big and I probably won't get that big either but who knows! I may surprise you! I love all people I meet but my best friends are dogs for sure. I like chasing my friends around the back yard and getting into wrestle matches with my sister. I really need another doggy pal in the home to keep me company and show me the ropes. I'm afraid I would be sad and lonely without that furry interaction all day. I am a little calmer than my sister Artemis but "calm" is relative in puppy terms! I have been doing great learning my manners when it comes to my sharp puppy teeth. I would do best with a family if there are children, that they have dog experience that understand when I do rough house it is completely out of excitement and love. I'm still working on my potty training but my foster mom tells me I'm doing such a good job. My accidents are getting few and far between if I'm let out on a regular schedule. I can't quite hold it all day while my humans are at work so it's a good thing they come home for lunch! Apollo is a growing male Terrier/mix breed puppy who was born approximately 11/27/2021. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
