Arnold is a tender-hearted dog who will need some time to adjust to a new home. He arrived at his foster home fearful and initially avoided his foster mom, but with dedicated one-on-one care, he’s begun to feel more at ease and now enjoys being held and snuggled. After just two weeks, Arnold even approached a stranger in the foster house for some gentle pets. He has found a supportive friend in one of his foster dog siblings, who is helping him discover the joys of being a house dog. Arnold is making steady progress with potty training and is showing great promise. He adores his foster mother’s off-key singing and has already perfected the art of snuggling. Though he still exhibits some wariness, he is becoming more confident and content. With patience and understanding, Arnold is sure to flourish into a loving companion. He has the potential to thrive in a nurturing home where he can continue to feel secure and loved.
Arnold requires an adult-only, dog-experienced home with a secure fenced yard.
Arnold is a Miniature Poodle who was was born 3-12-16. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested heartworm negative and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
