Hi there I'm Azalea! I was named after a flower because I'm so pretty! My foster dad has taken to calling me Iggy (something about a rapper, but I'm not sure what he is talking about). I'm also a world class snuggler. My little legs won't get me up on the couch so I just give my puppy dogs eyes until someone picks me up so I can cuddle and give the best kisses. I'm working hard on all of my training. I'm learning about potty training, walking on leash, and kennel training. I know I'll be a quick learner! I am such a good girl, I get along with all other dog, my little legs do not slow me down one bit when I chase my siblings or foster fur siblings around the yard. I've even met a kitten when I went to work with my foster mom and we are the best of friends now! I would do best with kids over 6 as I am still learning my puppy manners. My dream home would have a big backyard for me to romp around and play all day or sunbathe. If you think we would be the perfect match please put in an application for me! Azalea and her littermates came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where they were in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & their time was up. Dolly's Legacy came to their rescue and saved their lives. Now they are ready for a new chapter with forever homes. Azalea is a growing female Basset Hound/Terrier mix pup who was born approximately 4-20-21. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed & started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
