Baby is a delightful 12-year-old dog who is learning to embrace life’s new chapter after the passing of her previous owner. Though she initially felt sad and slept a lot, Baby is now finding joy in her surroundings. She’s discovered the pleasure of rolling in the grass and enjoys exploring the yard, often making her way outside on her own. Baby is house-trained with potty pads and also prefers to go outside when she can. She has a special affinity for young people, and her eyes light up whenever she sees them. Although she requires some eye drops, she takes them well and otherwise remains in good health with no other medications. Her appetite is strong, and she eagerly enjoys her meals, with a particular fondness for chicken. Baby is known to sit and stare intently at anyone eating chicken nuggets or rotisserie chicken, hoping for a tasty bite. Despite her age, Baby holds her own among her three larger canine siblings and gets along well with them. She has a charming personality that’s beginning to shine through more with each passing day. Baby can be quite the character—she recently had a bout of zoomies, spinning around on the linoleum and showing off her playful side. Though she doesn’t smile often, her happy moments are evident in her spirited antics. Baby is a funny and lovable girl who adds a lot of joy to her new home. She is a testament to the resilience of senior dogs and is sure to bring warmth and happiness to a family willing to appreciate her endearing quirks and gentle spirit.
Ideal home for Baby will be a calm, adult-only home. No rambunctious kids or pets that would overpower her. Must have small breed experience with verifiable excellent veterinary reference. Ability to provide for her medical needs as described above.
