BAILEE

Hi! My Name Is BAILEE

We're happy to tell you that BAILEE has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
Bailee is a very special dog, the amount of love and kindness she has is unprecendented. She loves giving kisses and hugs (yes, she gives hugs!). She will cuddle on the couch with you & try to be a lap dog but responds well when given directives. Just be easy about it, she is very sensitive to yelling which makes her scared. She will do her best to please you and do what you ask of her. She will sit on command and if she needs to potty she will sit by the door until the leash is applied. She's very smart and a quick learner, treats do help as she is food motivated. She will likely pick a 'safe place' to claim as hers to run to when she gets overwhelmed or thinks she is in trouble. She loves toys so much! She loves bones, but tennis balls are her favorite. Bailee has no problems with other dogs unless they invade her safe space when she doesn't want them to. Bailee is an easy dog to maintain, she is easy to bathe and loves to be brushed. She does have some allergies which benadryl helps. Overall, Bailee will have no problems fitting into a family with or without kids, but kids must be calm and respectful of her; loud & chaotic kids would scare her. She is everything you could want in a family dog. She will show the family more love than you can imagine. Don't count her out because of her smaller size, she has a bit of a guard dog in her and will protect you. Bailee came from a crowded city shelter in Texas where she was in grave danger of being euthanized due to limited space at the shelter & her time was up. She was full of milk so had recently had puppies but she came to the shelter as a lonely & sad mom without her pups. Dolly's Legacy came to her rescue and saved her life. Now she is ready for a new chapter with a forever home. Bailee is a female German Shepherd, weighs 40 lbs and was born approximately 1-14-18 She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventative. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
