Barley is what we call an "old soul". He is so gentle and mellow, and so unbelievably grateful to be safe. He is house trained, loves to sleep in the bed or on the couch. Quiet. Nothing seems to phase him. He is great with all people & all dogs he's been introduced to. Has cute white tips on his tail and paws. Barley was found wandering with his friends, all of them homeless, along the roadside in Missouri looking for someone to take pity on them. He is so grateful to have a second chance at life!

 
Barley is a Retriever/Hound mix who weighs 55 lbs and was born approximately 10-26-19. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. He was provided life-saving heartworm treatment and will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventative (as all dogs should). Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. Our website is updated daily, pets that are listed are still available.
