BAXTER

My name is Baxter and I’m just a happy-go-lucky puppy full of love and kisses. I’ve just arrived in Lincoln and learning all about life outside of a concrete cage. Grass is neat! I love running in big big circles and lying in the grass. Toys are really neat! I love to play fetch, tug-of-war with other dogs, chew on sticks or rocks, and wrestle with my brother, Bruiser. I like to jump up on my foster mom’s lap for some pets but not for too long because I’ve got exploring to do. I bark at unfamiliar sounds or people but I’m quiet when in my kennel. I haven’t had any accidents in the kennel overnight or during the day. I’m still working on potty training but I’ve tried hard to let someone know when I need to go out. There has been so many new things that we haven’t tried walking on a leash yet and I’m getting used to sitting for a treat. If you are looking for a reason to smile, send a bat-signal and I’ll coming flying into your arms and heart. Baxter weighs 15 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 5/8/2020. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed & started on heartworm preventive. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
