Hi, my name is BB! I’m a 12 year old yellow lab and I’ve seen better years but I sure have a lot of life left in me. I was an only dog for years and my owner’s health failed so now I’m with Dolly’s and in a foster home with two other dogs and a bunch of foster kittens and cats. I don’t really like my immediate space invaded but I’m getting used to the idea of not being just me. I was really sad the first week or so when I came to my foster home but now I actually like having a couple foster canines as long as they don’t try to play too rough. I have really felt a bit perkier in the last couple weeks and I am getting used to lots of pets, hugs, and affection from my foster mom. I’m looking for a pretty low-key home with a comfortable floor. I can’t really do stairs very well at all and not a couch dog as it’s tough to get up and down off of furniture, so I prefer the floor. Occasionally I get a little giddy and almost run a bit but like I said, I’m more of a lay around kind of girl. I’d love someone that can just let me lay at their feet and chill with them at home. You will fall in love with me, my foster mom did. Please consider me, I’m a senior girl with a soulful face that just needs a soft place to live out my days. BB is a yellow lab, weighs 85 lbs and is 12 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Adoption fee is $250 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
