Hi there I'm Bessie! I'm as cute as they come and oh so sweet! I just got to Nebraska from Oklahoma and I'm loving it here! I am enjoying playing with my foster pup siblings and all the toys they are sharing with me. I especially love to chew on nylon bones, I even fell asleep cuddling one on my first night here I loved it so much! I am such a good girl, I haven't had any accidents in the house, I know how to sit and I go right in my kennel if you have a treat for me. I do a very low whine for a minute when I get in there because I'd rather be snuggling with you. I would love it if you said we could sleep together in your bed or if I had a doggy bed in your room because I love being near my people! I love all new people and want everyone to pet me and tell me how adorable I am! I rarely bark, my foster mom was so surprised to hear my big bark come out while I was playing with my foster fur brother but I was just telling him I could take him in a wrestling match. After I am tuckered out from playing I am a great snuggler. I like to lay right next to you or on your feet. I make the best and cutest foot warmer. I met a few cats and did wonderful! I leave them alone to do their own thing. I'm ready to spend the rest of my life with a family who will give me all the love and affection. If you're looking for a smart, funny, affectionate young dog that is a good mix of playful but also friendly and snuggly, please oh please pick me! Bessie is a Catahoula mix, weighs 27 lbs and was born approximately 7-11-19. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventive, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease & started on preventive. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
