BLUEBELLE

Bluebelleis one lucky girl! After being found wandering the streets suffering from heat exhaustion, she found herself on the euthanasia list at a rural Alabama shelter. As black dog labeled shy and fearful, as well as being a Pitbull type dog, she didn’t stand much chance of making it out alive. But by wild chance, she came across Dolly’s Legacy’s radar, and we couldn’t leave her behind. Now, after a VERY long trip to Nebraska, Bluebelle is learning that she can now relax into the good life! Despite still being a nervous girl who needs a little time to warm up to new people and learn that new places are safe, Bluebelle is a sweet, precious dog who craves love and affection. She gives the best full body wiggles and has the happiest smile when she is excited! She absolutely loves being outside, and walks well on a leash with a harness. Bluebell’s greatest love though, is other dogs! She is very playful and believes every dog she sees is a best friend she hasn’t met yet. And although she would be just fine as an only dog, she would love to have a canine sibling in her forever home. While she isn’t as excited about cats, she is gentle with them and mostly indifferent to their presence. Bluebelle has done excellent with potty training and is perfect in a crate. She calms quickly, and other than a few initial whines, is perfectly quiet. She is also quickly learning basic obedience skills, and is eager to please. Bluebelle had a rough start in life, but despite that, she is a sweet, goofy, loving girl who deserves a forever family of her very own!

Bluebelle is a female Terrier/Pit mix who was born approximately 7-26-21 and weighs a petite 35 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/heartworm preventative, dewormed, tested negative for heartworm disease. Adoption fee is $250 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.
