BONNIE

Hi! My Name Is BONNIE

I'm Available

*SEEKING FOSTER HOME as an only pet* Foster-to-adopt is an option! Currently undergoing heartworm treatment*

Bonnie is a beautiful, medium-sized sweetheart who’s ready to leave her shelter days behind and bond deeply with a person or family of her very own. After months in a kennel, she’s eager to discover the comforts of home life—following her favorite human from room to room, learning new sounds, and settling into a routine with so much gratitude. Bonnie is happiest outdoors, sniffing every new scent she can find,  she’d enjoy the freedom of a fenced yard to wander and explore safely. She’s fully housetrained, quiet in her kennel both overnight and during the workday, and although toys are still a bit of a mystery, treats are absolutely her love language! With a long wagging tail and gentle approach, Bonnie greets her humans with sweet head pats and affection, sometimes even trying to step onto your lap just to be a little closer. She hasn’t been tested with kids or cats ,and is a bit picky choosing her canine friends, but she shines brightest as a loving companion who just wants to be someone’s loyal shadow. Bonnie will be undergoing heartworm treatment and will need lifelong prevention, but she’s otherwise a happy, easygoing girl ready to start her new life filled with comfort, safety, and unconditional love.

Three Things You Must Know About Bonnie:

1. She is fully housetrained and has excellent indoor manners.

2. She loves exploring outside and would enjoy a fenced yard.

3. She will need to remain on heartworm prevention after completing her treatment.

Bonnie is a female Plott Hound/Mountain Cur mix (our best guess of breeds) who was was born approximately 8-22-20. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, provided life-saving heartworm treatment, and will need to be kept on heartworm prevention.
